Black Book Rankings: Primary-care docs happier with their EHRs

Tools

Primary-care physicians are happier with their electronic health record systems than they used to be, according to Black Book Rankings' annual report on ambulatory EHR users. Of the 2,000 primary care physician EHR users surveyed, only 8 percent were still "very dissatisfied" with their EHRs, down from 48 percent in 2009. The change in attitude is being attributed to vendor improvements to EHR workflow, Meaningful Use achievements, and better vendor support. Practice Fusion ranked first in virtually every category. Other top vendors include Greenway Medical, Care 360 Quest, Kareo, Praxis, Amazing Charts, CareCloud, CureMD, Allscripts, athenahealth and eClinical Works. Announcement
