SPOTLIGHT: VA wants to track physician response to alerts

While the Department of Veterans Affairs has an advanced, integrated EMR with clinical decision support, the Computerized Patient Record System that makes up part of the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) can't report whether clinicians actually take action based on alerts about abnormal test results.
